Winter Sports in Vienna

P1000461 The first snowflakes arrived and Vienna has a lot of winter activities to offer, e.g. sledding, skating and skiing. Although the High Hills Skiing Slope is not open yet, the sledding hills at Jesuitenwiese in Prater or Donaupark have already enough snow for sledding. At the Schneeerlebniswelt (U2 Aspern Nord) your kids can rent a bob or make the first moves with skis on slip mats even without snow. Temporarily closed!

DCIM100MEDIAWhy not try curling with some friends? It’s real fun! You can do so at the Vienna Ice Dream. At Happyland Klosterneuburg families can even try ice-hockey every Sunday morning between 9.00 and 11.00 am. A very special adventure is the toboggan run at the Zauberberg Semmering. You can get there by car, train or with a companion ticket by Bus zum Schnee.

Be fast, before the snow melts!
