The Adventure Park at Gaenserndorf opens in April for the summer season. I have rediscovered the former Safari Park as a theme park when I was looking for an archery place for my daughter. We spent a great Sunday there, because there is something to do for everyone, whether fun, action or relaxation.
While my daughter and I shot arrows at 3 D animal targets surrounded by trees and enjoyed ourselves on slackline parcours, the men were employed in forest climbing (nine courses) and in off-road Segway driving. The little ones loved the large adventure playground, pony riding and the petting zoo where they could feed the animals. You can use the park even with strollers and wheelchairs on paved paths. If you get hungry, there’s a refreshment bar with small snacks and drinks. The park entrance fee is 5 Euro including disc golf wellies, slackline course, adventure playground and petting zoo and then there are day tickets for 19 or 25 Euros with different stations included. They also offer birthday parties and summer camps.
